The Boeuf bourguignon has been perfected, the Crème brûlée is baked and the wine is chilled. After a busy few months, the finishing touches are now being made to Eastbourne’s newest restaurant and café bar, Bistrot Pierre, ahead of its official opening on 15 November. 

Located next to the landmark Wish Tower on the promenade, the new bistrot represents Bistrot Pierre’s first opening in the South East. Unique to Eastbourne, the restaurant space will also include a café bar, which will serve coffees, cakes and light bites throughout the day. 

Bistrot Pierre has worked incredibly hard to redevelop the iconic site. It has significantly invested in bringing a contemporary bistrot feel to the space while incorporating coastal influences of Eastbourne in its design. The restaurant boasts incredible, panoramic views over the seafront – which are best enjoyed with a glass of wine, beer or a cocktail on the bistrot’s extensive outdoor terrace. 

THE EASTBOURNE INFLUENCE

The Eastbourne influence can even be seen in Bistrot Pierre’s new menus. The bistrot has developed a tailor-made fish menu with local suppliers. From Scallops to Steak-frites, the bistrot has married flavours from the sea with the bistrot classics it’s known for. 

Its seasonal two-course prix fixe lunch menu is available from £12.95 and early evening prix fixe menu is £15.95. The menus feature Moroccan chicken, Navarin of lamb and Miso roasted aubergine, all freshly prepared by talented chefs every day. You can find a wide variety of dish options on their extensive evening menu which include a selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, perfect for this Autumn.

The new restaurant will open just in time for Christmas, so whether you’re dining in a large party or having a small gathering with family or friends, Bistrot Pierre is the perfect place to celebrate this December. Enjoy a three-course lunch for £18.95 or three-course dinner for £27.95, the dishes combine the provincial French cooking that the bistrot are renowned for with their very own Christmas sparkle.
